ICES-WGPME phytoplankton reference collection

The ICES Working Group on Phytoplankton and Microbial Ecology (WGPME) has collected a large number of phytoplankton time series and carries out comparative analyses of long-term trends in the ICES region based on these data sets. A common problem when carrying out such large scale analyses is the uncertainty associated with species identifications. Therefore in this image set we will archive a collection of representative images for taxa identified in the different time series.
