Bluehouse plankton citizen science

The Bluehouse charity (the full name is 'The Bluehouse on Helgoland - a public science facility for the North Sea (das Bluehouse auf Helgoland - eine öffentliche Forschungslandschaft für die Nordsee e.V. in German) is concerned with public education, training and outreach activities in the marine realm. One of its current goals is also to support activities (including fund raising) aimed at the re-building/re-structuring of the Helgoland. This collection ióf images was produced on World Oceans day 2015 in which Bluehouse and the the open sea project on Helgoland joined forces to support World Oceans day with a range of practical lab experiments and other marine science activities for the general public. One such activities was an all day microscopy session in which interested hobby marine scientists could take a look at the Helgoland images, take images and put them online.
